The Yono App is feature-rich. This guide explains each major area of the app in plain language, so you can navigate confidently from day one.
Overview of Core App Features
Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It provides a summary overview of your account activity, recent interactions, and quick-access shortcuts to frequently used areas of the app. Think of it as the home base from which all navigation begins.
Search and Discovery
Most versions of the Yono App include a search or browse feature that lets you locate specific sections, content, or functionality quickly. Rather than navigating through menus, you can type what you are looking for and jump directly to the relevant area.
Services and Tools
The core value of the app lies in its services and tools section. This area organises the app's primary functions into categories. Each category is labelled clearly, and tapping or clicking into one reveals the options and controls within it.
Activity History
Your activity history is a log of actions taken within the app. This can include interactions, changes made to your account, and other events. The history is useful for reviewing what you have done or identifying anything unusual in your account behaviour.
Notifications Centre
All system messages, alerts, and updates from the app appear in the notifications centre. This is separate from your device's native notification system — messages may still appear here within the app.
Account and Settings

How Features Are Organised
The Yono App uses a tiered navigation structure. At the top level, you have your main menu — this gives you access to the broad categories of the app. Within each category, you will find subcategories that get increasingly specific.
On mobile, the main navigation is usually presented as a bottom tab bar with icons. On larger screens or web access, it appears as a left-side panel. Both are functionally identical.
If you ever feel lost, the search function is the fastest route to any specific part of the app. Simply type the name of what you are looking for, and the app will surface the relevant section.
Features Vary by Account Type
Some features within the Yono App may appear differently or not at all depending on your account configuration, your region, or the version of the app you are using. This is normal and does not indicate an error. If you see a feature described here but cannot locate it, check whether an update is available.
